Draudzes mērķi un uzdevumi ir

-apvienot draudzē Čikāgā un apkārtnē dzīvojošos evaņģēliski luterticigos latviešus

-veicināt un sekmēt reliģisko dzīvi un tradicijas latviešu valodā saskaņā ar

Svētajiem Rakstiem,

Apustuļu, Nikajas un Atanazijas ticības apliecībām,

nepārgrozīto Augsburgas konfesiju,

Mārtiņa Lutera Lielo un Mazo katiķismu

un citiem Vienprātības grāmatā (Liber Concordiae) sakopotiem rakstiem.

Goals and responsibilities

The church’s goals and responsibilities are:

-within the Church to unite Latvians of evangelical Lutheran faith living in Chicago and its surrounding areas.

-to further and to advance religious life and traditions in the Latvian language in accordance with the Holy Book;

the Apostles’, Nicodemus’ and Atanacia’s attestations of faith;

the unmodified Augsburg confession; Martin Luther’s Major and Minor Catechism; and other writings in the Liber Cioncordiae.
